VSAM records Update
Insert, update, and delete VSAM KSDS records from CoreIQ View File or host APIs under the caller’s RACF identity, gated by write flags.
OL CoreIQ VSAM record CUD lets operators and integrations create, update, and delete individual records in VSAM KSDS datasets from the View File workbench and through host dataset-record APIs. Edits use the dataset’s associated COBOL record layout: typed field values are validated and serialized to EBCDIC record (and key) bytes, then relayed to the dataset endpoint under the caller’s mainframe credentials. Writes are off by default and must be enabled both on the CoreIQ endpoint and on the dataset-server write surface.
