OL Integration API, ETL, and DB Poller

From query results, create OL Integration APIs and DB modules, ETL flows between connections, and DB Poller projects for Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and DB400.

OL DataIQ connects to OL Integration so successful queries become governed APIs and data movement projects, without leaving the Query Console.

Capabilities

Create API from queries

  • Turn a successful SELECT into an OL Integration asset:
    • Create the query in a new API project
    • Create the query in a new DB module
    • Create the query in an existing DB module

ETL flow creation

  • From Export Dataset, create an ETL flow in OL Integration
  • Configure the project, target connection, source table name, and optional clear-existing-data
  • Open the resulting ETL project and contract in OL Integration

DB Poller projects

  • From Export Dataset, create a DB Poller project in OL Integration
  • Supported sources: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, AS/400 (DB400)
  • Polls the source for changes (no target connection required, unlike ETL)

Setup

  • Configure the OL Integration URL and API key in Admin; test connectivity before use
